Darren Keam, Senior Project Manager, Environmental Management, from MMM’s Winnipeg office, has been re-elected as president for the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists (MIA) Provincial Council.
This will be Darren’s second term as president with MIA, the next step in his 10-year relationship with the association. Throughout the years he has held various positions including Branch Board Member, Branch Vice President, and council member.
Through his volunteering and certification as a professional agrologist, Darren has developed many strong relationships with numerous Manitoba clients including several local rural municipalities and agriculturally based private industries.
The MIA focuses on protecting and serving the public through continuing education in the practice of agrology, setting requirements and standards, and providing authority and oversight to its members.
