MMM’s core building design services include mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering; along with specialty services such as sustainability, building performance (commissioning and building envelope), IT / Security / AV and lighting design, the combination of which enables us to offer a fully integrated, single point of delivery for our clients.

Our integrated, multidisciplinary design teams draw upon an extensive array of in-house skills, knowledge, competencies, and technologies available across the firm. MMM services complementary to those offered by our Buildings team include civil engineering, urban planning, environmental science and planning, landscape architecture, and transportation and traffic engineering; effectively rounding out a comprehensive suite of services covering all aspects of building engineering design. With this breadth of talent and in-house experience, our team is able to anticipate, quickly identify, and solve the many technical challenges we encounter daily on our projects; our firm’s diverse mix of projects and personal experience are drawn upon to provide valuable insights into the design, construction, and delivery processes.

Our collaborative approach leverages analysis and design software, including BIM (Revit), energy modeling, CFD, and SeawoodFM as key components, enabling us to achieve greater efficiencies and coordination amongst disciplines, as well as improved overall building performance.

With offices across Canada, a complete portfolio of services for all building types and delivery models, and more than 60 years of experience, the firm has tackled some of the nation’s most challenging building projects ranging from acute care hospitals, high-rise commercial towers, luxury hospitality and residential projects, data centre and telecom facilities, justice and correctional buildings, and complex transit and aviation projects.
