Parks & Open Spaces

At MMM Group Limited (MMM), we understand that public parks and open spaces are a vital element of the communities we design.

A multidisciplinary firm, we view collaboration as fundamental to excellence. Our Parks and Open Spaces team brings together industry-leading experts in landscape architecture, urban design, and planning who collaborate closely with in-house expertise in engineering, transportation, water resources, ecology, and environmental disciplines. Within these practice areas, MMM’s specialists in sports turf, low-impact development, bioengineering, arboriculture, sustainability, and active transportation come together to develop creative and comprehensive solutions to design challenges. This integrated approach results in innovative, contextual, cost effective, and highly implementable solutions that meet the world-class standards of our valued clients.

Supported by a wealth of broad-based technical expertise, our team of more than 50 landscape architects brings a highly creative and process-driven approach to each park design, resulting in beautiful and beloved public spaces that celebrate the synergy of human interaction, natural processes, and artistic expression.

Parks and open spaces provide places to relax, connect with nature, socialize, and enhance well-being. Equally important is the role they play in protecting and conserving natural areas and providing green infrastructure. In designing parks and open spaces, we aim to foster the connection between people and green spaces, while preserving critical habitat for wildlife.

MMM’s landscape architects and certified arborists have the technical knowledge and creative skills to implement functional, interesting, and scenic green spaces that can be enjoyed by all. Our multidisciplinary team applies its expertise and the experience gained from an extensive project portfolio to develop the best possible solutions for each project. We have been successful in developing solutions that are viable in the long term, reflect the priorities of the local community, and provide opportunities for environmental enhancement.

MMM’s services span the full project life cycle, including site inventory and analysis, concept development, public consultation and engagement, design development and detail design, project tendering, project management, and contract management. We offer complete solutions that begin with the planning stages and continue through to post-construction monitoring; until all commitments and objectives are met.
