  • More than 24 years of professional experience in the planning, design, and construction of lighting, power, and traffic signal systems for provincial highways and municipal roadways
  • Extensive experience in the design of conventional lighting, high mast lighting, and accent lighting systems for bridges, as well as customized decorative illumination systems in heritage urban areas
  • Participated in various Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) sub-committees and task forces, including the preparation of technical guidelines for the design, construction, and maintenance of high mast lighting systems, and an update to the Technical Memorandum TM-19 (Procedures for Presentation and Verification of Roadway Luminaire Photometric Data)
  • Key participant in sub-committees for updating the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards C.653 – Photometric Performance of Roadway and Street Lighting Luminaires, and C.811-Performance of High Mast Luminaires for Roadway Lighting, to include new lighting technologies such as LED and Plasma
