Steve Kemp, Vice President, Buildings, Sustainability and Scott Armstrong, Manager, Building Science & Sustainability will be speaking at BUILD Ideas Toronto on October 20th. The conference will feature conversations about how the building industry in cities is changing and the challenges buildings are facing.
MMM will be involved in two sessions at this year’s conference:
During the morning session, The Convergence of Old and New, Steve will explain how old buildings will become more like new buildings, and vice versa, in the future. Steve is recognized as one of Canada’s experts in sustainable building design, green technology research, and building energy simulations.
In the afternoon session, Scott will focus on, Defining and Measuring Building Performance, addressing questions about empirically verifying and maintaining performance over the life of a building. Scott brings extensive experience in the building envelope and sustainability consulting.
Promoting discussion through a series of talks, Q&A sessions, and shared experiences, the BUILD Ideas Toronto conference themes explore how building science can help meet challenges in the built environment.
