MMM’s Ian Gray, Senior Landscape Architect, will be speaking at the 2015 Green Building Festival, October 1st in Toronto. Since 2005 the festival has provided a forum for the industry’s leading professionals to present on topics focusing on sustainable built environments. This year’s theme, ‘Building Resilient Communities’ will delve into community-scale planning and development for a more resilient urban landscape.
With more than 25 years of experience Ian Gray has been both project manager and design lead for multiple landscape projects, including campus master plans, parks, streetscape, and urban open spaces. Taking this experience to the festival, Ian will be discussing “Downsview Park: Changing the Planning Paradigm”, an innovative model of an urban systems approach to design and community food production.
The Green Building Festival will be an excellent opportunity to network with experts in all areas of building design, construction, development and facilities management from both the municipal and industry perspectives and to build knowledge on how the industry is shifting and evolving.
