MMM Ottawa Shows Team Spirit to Support Youth Mental Health

DIFD Jersey Day

Throughout our office locations, MMM takes pride in leading and participating in initiatives that raise money and awareness to improve the lives of others.

On February 8th, MMM Ottawa held its first annual jersey day in support of the Do it for Daron (DIFD).

The DIFD Foundation is an Ottawa-based charity created in memory of Daron Richardson who lost her life to suicide at the age of 14. DIFD focuses on raising awareness about youth mental health, and inspiring those in need of help to reach out without fear, shame, or embarrassment.

Every year, DIFD marks February 8th with Purple Pledge Day, a day where individuals of all ages in schools and the community wear purple and pledge their support to the charity.

The MMM Ottawa office had great participation, as team members wore a variety of sports jerseys from the NHL, NFL, MLB, and even NASCAR, to support the cause. MMM Group will match the $135 raised by jersey day for a total $270 donation to the DIFD Foundation.
