Adidas Flagship Store

  • At the flagship Adidas store in Toronto, MMM Group took a sculptural approach to incorporate the unmistakable Adidas branding by designing a custom 150-ft, continuous-length, LED-backlit three-stripe luminaire that runs from the façade through to the interior, along the length of the store’s 22-ft-high ceiling
  • This sculptural and theatrical approach to the lighting design anchors the space, and drives energy from the square into the store, while theatre lighting maximizes the functionality and offers total flexibility
  • The project won the 2009 Illuminating Engineering Society / International Interior Design Association Edwin G. Guth Memorial Award for Interior Lighting Design
