Initiated in response to the need to accommodate industrial land uses and intermodal facilities associated with Canada’s first inland port

  • Retained by the Province of Manitoba to develop an integrated, cross-jurisdictional plan with a coordinated approach to land development for Canada’s first inland port
  • Accommodated industrial land uses and intermodal facilities while ensuring predictability and transparency of future land use and infrastructure decisions in this 8,000-ha area
  • MMM’s multidisciplinary team determined issues, anticipated land use scenarios, identified servicing needs, and forecasted the resultant traffic in the area to aid in the development of new highways
