  • Under a Design-Build-Finance-Operate contract, MMM is the Lead Highway Design Coordinator responsible for 25% of the project scope including all utility design and coordination
  • Design team consists of AECOM as Design Team Lead, and as Prime Civil Sub-Consultants, Stantec is the Segment 3 Designer, and Buckland & Taylor LTD. is the North Saskatchewan River Bridge Designer
  • The new infrastructure portion of the project includes approximately 27 km of new 6- and 8-lane divided freeway plus additional basic and auxiliary lanes, including 9 interchanges, 10 flyovers (8 rail and 2 road), 2 river structures, and additional pre-grading for future interchanges
  • Construction period for the new infrastructure portion is approximately four-and-a-half years, followed by a thirty-year operating period for both new and existing infrastructure
