Surrey Pretrial Centre

New facility helped reduce overcrowding and improve the correctional environment

The first P3 correctional facility in British Columbia, the project involved the construction of a high security and state-of-the-art 216-cell expansion to the existing pretrial centre. It was part of an overall capital plan that represented the largest single investment in correction facilities by British Columbia in more than half a century.
