This past November, MMM Group’s Richard Harper, Practice Leader, Infrastructure BC, spoke at the Clean Energy BC (CEBC) 13th Annual Generate Conference, held in Vancouver.
In the session, New Opportunities for Growth: Thinking Bigger on Load Growth and Electrification, speakers explored how to adapt our industrial and personal electricity demands to fight climate change, and how upcoming large-scale projects in BC could maximize the use of clean energy. Richard’s contribution focused on the opportunities for the electrification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to allow BC and potentially Canada to meet its greenhouse gas reduction targets. Currently, Richard is working with CEBC to determine if there is a viable opportunity to electrify LNG and Upstream Gas developments while still meeting British Columbia’s targets.
Generate CEBC’s annual fall conference, brings together stakeholders involved in the Clean Energy industry in British Columbia.
