Shannon Baker Represents OALA at Multidisciplinary Gathering

On October 24th, the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) are jointly holding an international professional education and social event at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts in downtown Windsor.

MMM’s Shannon Baker, Senior Project Manager, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, will be representing, and giving an address on behalf of OALA, which is the organization that governs the practice of landscape architecture in Ontario.

The event, [re]Windsor – Inspiration & Intervention in a Downtown Campus, will include a walking tour and a panel discussion around the topic of planning for a sustainable post-secondary campus environment. The topic is pertinent as St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology has moved several of its programs downtown, and the University of Windsor is planning to relocate approximately 1500 students downtown in 2014.
